Q. Is permanent makeup really permanent?
A. Permanent cosmetics are a form of cosmetic tattooing which should be thought of as being “permanent”, however, as is also true of body tattoo work, the degree of “permanency” varies with each individual. While permanent makeup pigment remains in the dermis, its beauty-span may be influenced by several possible factors. These can be environmental, procedural and/or individual factors. Sun exposure, chlorinated water, and certain cosmetic products all have been known to contribute to fading of permanent cosmetics. .
Q: Are permanent makeup procedures painful?
A: A topical anesthetic is applied prior to and, if needed, during each procedure to numb the epidermis, reduce any discomfort, and to promote relaxation. Every client is different, some will feel a light vibration or slight chafing, and some will feel nothing at all. Some clients feel a slight tickling sensation and some actually are able to take a nap. I am very sensitive to your discomfort, and will do my best to make your experience pleasant and relaxing. I use medical grade anesthetics that work well.
Q: I 'm allergic to most makeup, especially eye makeup. Will permanent makeup be safe for me?
A: In most cases YES! Many women choose permanent eyeliner as the solution to their sensitive eyes. Say "good-bye" to watery, runny eyes and smeary makeup forever! A patch test will be done upon request .
